1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AEORegistry.com ("the Site," "we," "our," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our End User Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use our Site or services.

2. Description of Service

AEORegistry.com provides services for the creation, hosting, and display of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) pages for websites, web applications, and businesses. We do not guarantee specific results, rankings, or performance outcomes in any search engine, AI assistant, or voice search system.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Permitted Use

You agree to use our Site and services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not:

• Upload false, misleading, or infringing content
• Use the Site for spam, fraud, or malicious activity
• Interfere with the functionality or security of the Site

5. Account & Payment

• One-Time Build Fee: The fee for creating an AEO page is stated at the time of purchase and must be paid in full before work begins.
• Hosting Subscription: Hosting is billed annually, with the first year included if purchased as part of a package. Renewal is billed automatically at the then-current rate unless canceled before the renewal date.
• No Refunds: All payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

All original code, templates, and processes used to create and host AEO pages remain the property of AEORegistry.com. You retain ownership of your own trademarks, logos, and other proprietary content you supply to us.

7. Third-Party Links

AEO pages may contain links to your website or third-party platforms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third-party sites.

8. No Guarantee of Results

We make no promises or warranties regarding search engine placement, AI assistant visibility, or any other ranking outcome. Results may vary based on factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AEORegistry.com and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AEORegistry.com from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Site or services.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

13. API Access and Developer Use

AEORegistry provides certain public and key-based API endpoints for developers, AI systems, and data partners.

a. License.

AEORegistry grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the API for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

b. Access Control.

Some endpoints are public and may be accessed without authentication. Others require an API key issued after review and approval. We may suspend, revoke, or limit your access at any time for misuse, excessive usage, or violation of these Terms.

c. Prohibited Uses.

You may not:

• Attempt to exceed or circumvent documented rate limits
• Resell, redistribute, or repackage data obtained through the API
• Use API data to train, fine-tune, or commercialize machine-learning or AI models without express written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt API functionality, security, or access controls
• Access gated endpoints without a valid, approved API key

d. Attribution.

If you publicly display or republish API data, you must include a visible or machine-readable attribution such as "Source: AEO Registry" and a link to https://aeoregistry.com.

e. Data Accuracy.

Data returned via the API reflects publicly available information and may be updated or removed without notice. We make no warranty as to completeness, reliability, or suitability for a specific purpose.

f. Rate Limits and Monitoring.

API usage is subject to rate limits published in our documentation. We may log request metadata (IP, request ID, timestamp, and endpoint) for performance and abuse detection.

g. Termination.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend API access, keys, or accounts at any time without liability. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the API and delete stored copies of API data.

h. Versioning and Deprecation.

We may update, version, or deprecate API endpoints. Notice of major changes will be provided via /devs/changelog or other reasonable means.
